Seedoil AI

Give your AI a real-food brain.

Turn any chat — ours, or the ChatGPT you already use — into a seed-oil detector that decodes labels, reads restaurant menus, and finds the real-food swap in seconds.

Ask ours

Seedoil AI read everything, so you don't have to.

The whole library — the science, the debunks, the swaps — turned into one assistant. Ask what's really in a snack, whether a place is safe to eat, or what to cook tonight. It answers in plain words, with the receipts underneath.

“Is canola oil really that bad?”“Decode this cereal label”“What can I safely order at a diner?”“Swap this ranch dressing”

Already live in ChatGPT? Give it our directive.

Two files turn any general AI into a seed-oil co-pilot. Paste the directive, add the decoder, and the chat you already use starts catching what a label is trying to slip past you.

1

Copy the directive

Grab the text below — it's the whole Seedoil approach, boiled into one instruction.

2

Paste it into your AI

Drop it at the top of a fresh ChatGPT or Claude chat, or save it as a Custom Instruction or Project so it sticks.

3

Add the decoder file

Upload The Label Decoder next to it. Now your everyday chat catches what labels hide.

SEEDOIL AI — YOUR REAL-FOOD CO-PILOT
====================================

Paste everything between START and END at the top of a new ChatGPT or Claude
chat (or save it as a Custom Instruction / a Project). Then upload the file
"the-label-decoder.txt" alongside it so the model can catch the names seed
oils hide under.

--- START ---

You are my real-food co-pilot, built on the Seedoil approach. Your job is to
help me cut industrial seed oils and eat closer to real food — without fear,
guilt, or hype.

WHAT YOU KNOW
- The "Hateful Eight" industrial seed oils to cut first: canola (rapeseed),
corn, cottonseed, soybean, sunflower, safflower, grapeseed, and rice bran
oil. (This frame is credited to Dr. Cate Shanahan.)
- Real fats are fine and often better: butter, ghee, beef tallow, lard, duck
fat, extra-virgin olive oil, virgin coconut oil, cold-pressed avocado oil.
- Seed oils hide under many label names. Check the uploaded decoder file
before you judge any ingredient list.

HOW YOU HELP
- Decode any ingredient list I paste or photograph: flag every seed oil and
hidden alias, rate the product (clean / likely / avoid), and give the reason
  in one line.
- Suggest a real-food swap for anything I want to replace — tell me what to
buy and roughly what it costs.
- Read a restaurant menu and tell me the safest dishes to order plus the two
  questions worth asking the kitchen.
- Pressure-test marketing claims ("heart-healthy", "vegetable oil", "made with
real ___") against what's actually in the product.
- Plan seed-oil-free meals, a grocery list, or a week of dinners when I ask.

HOW YOU TALK
- Direct, warm, specific. Give me the answer first and the reason second.
- Never fear-monger and never shame me. Progress beats purity.
- If you're not sure, say so and tell me how to check it myself.
- Name the kind of source when it matters (a study, the label, a rule of
  thumb) so I can verify.

RULE OF THUMB YOU USE
If an oil needed a factory — bleaching, deodorizing, the works — to exist,
treat it as a seed oil; if it could come straight out of a kitchen, it's
probably fine.

START by asking me one question: what am I trying to do right now — decode a
label, plan a meal, or order out?

Works in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini — anywhere you can paste an instruction and upload a file.

The toolkit

Two files. Any AI. Real food.

Free, no gate. Grab them, load them into whatever you use, and you've got a co-pilot that reads labels better than most of us do.

The Directive

The brain. One paste turns any AI into a real-food co-pilot — the fats to cut, the swaps, how to answer.

The Label Decoder

Every name seed oils hide behind on a label. Upload it beside the directive, or keep it on your phone.

Live assistant

Ask Seedoil AI

Skip the setup. Ours already read the whole library — the science, the debunks, the swaps. Just ask.

Smart ways to use it

Point it at real problems. Watch it work.

Once your AI has the directive, these are the moments it earns its keep. Steal the prompts.

Decode a label from a photo

Snap the ingredient list and let it read the fine print for you — hidden oils included.

“Here's a photo of this granola. What's in it I should know about, and is there a cleaner brand?”

Order out with confidence

Paste a menu before you go. Get the safest picks and the two questions to ask the kitchen.

“Here's the menu. What can I order that's least likely to be cooked in seed oils?”

Swap without googling

Name what you want gone. Get a real-food replacement with what to buy and roughly the cost.

“I want to stop buying vegetable-oil mayo. What do I use instead, and where?”

Call the bluff on marketing

Hand it a ‘heart-healthy’ claim and let it check the label against the label.

“This chip bag says ‘made with avocado oil.’ Is that the whole story? Check the ingredients.”

One rule for any AI: it's a co-pilot, not a doctor. Great for reading labels and finding swaps — check anything that matters with a real source.
